The Three Little Celebrities - Part 4

Audience: 16-25

Purpose: This fairytale uses the concept of "The Three Little Pigs", to illustrate the vulnerability of young celebrities in today's entertainment world. The media outlets act like wolves, on a mission to devour others to satisfy themselves and their audience. This piece will hopefully enlighten the same audience of the other side of the story.

The Taperazzi were feared among celebrities. They traveled in packs and became violent and relentless whenever they smelled prey. Their target on this evening was none other then Francine herself. Together, the Taperazzi waited patiently, waited for the perfect moment to pounce. But that moment never came.

The premiere event was about to end, and the Taperazzi were about to report home empty handed. Suddenly, Francine appeared and greeted the group of Taperazzi, "Hello all, I'm glad you made it. Thank you all for coming by, and as a gratitude of my appreciation I would like to formally invited you to my after party!" The Taperazzi were stunned at this turn of events, but could not pass up the opportunity to finally find some prey.

The pack of hungry Taperazzi traveled swiftly to the afterparty, but were unaware of the dangers that lied ahead. When they arrived, they were quickly offered drinks and refreshments. Every empty cup was refilled and every empty plate replaced with a full one. It seemed as though the Taperazzi were drinking as much as they were breathing.

Within an hour, The Taperazzi were tipsy and vulnerable. What they didn't know, was that Francine the film maker was setting them up for their demise. Not forgetting her agents advice of doing what she does best, Francine was ready to catch the Taperazzi fiasco on film.

Every brawl, every broken window, and every missile of vomit was caught on film. This third little celebrity was definately growing up. The Taperazzi were never seen again and The Monstrous Media has been rumoured to have fled the country. Soon enough, Bobby the singer, Tommy the actor, and our hero, Francine the film maker, were back on their paths to stardom.
