You do know I'm 41 right?

Same location, different conversation. In my last post, I shared a conversation I overheard at work and today I'm sharing another one. This time it was 3 guys, and not your typical manly men, instead they were, for lack of a better term, in touch with their feminine sides... if you know what I mean.

The conversation began innocently as always, but soon became terribly entertaining. Basically, one of the men began bragging about his natural talent at attracting younger males. Now, before I go any further, I want to clarify that if this had not been for educational purposes I would have stopped listening. Alas, the conversation continued and what I learned was that males as young as 19 would come up and flirt with this guy. According to his to story, he would usually say at one point, "You do know I'm 41 right?". Yeah I know, pure gold... and it gets better. Apparently, the 19 year olds would reply with "That's okay, you're just really hot!". Perfect.

I know sometimes people say the grass is always greener on the other side, and if this conversation is any reflection of that "other side", then maybe I should consider a visit... just kidding. It's amazing to see, and in this case hear, some of the things that go on in our society these days. Either the media is really having an influence on sexual behavior or stuff like this has always been around, it's just that no one has taken the time to eavesdrop and listen. This conversation will definitely rank in my top 5 when its all said and done and hopefully has provided me with a potential class presentation for the ages.

  2. I hope you learned alot on how to pick up young men, Uggles not that you need any help in that department ; )
That may have seemed inappropriate to outsiders but me and you know, me and you know .

On a serious note you sound somewhat british this blog. I don't know what it is maybe the terribly's . The only thing I miss about having a job is the people I encountered on a regular basis. Now I can live through your fantastic adventures. Amazing.

  3. James that was the point I was trying to get across, that it's really not that exciting lol. I really love your eavesdropping adventures though, I don't get to have any time with people for too long, so it's really small talk. I give you a virtual high five. Thumbs up for your post.

  4. I totally agree with your statement,

"Either the media is really having an influence on sexual behaviour..."

Especially when reading magazine, "how to snag someone special"

  5. That's really funny. I can't believe people actually talk about things like that...within listening distance of other people too. But it seemed pretty amusing for you at least.
